Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 February 2026

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using LoomAPI (the Service), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by Infinity Domain Solutions Ltd (we, us, our), a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 37 Lombard Street, 6th Floor, London, England, EC3V 9BQ. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

These terms apply to business customers who use our age and risk verification API. This is not legal advice; you should obtain your own legal advice as needed.

Service Description

LoomAPI is an API-based service that provides age and risk verification for high-risk platforms. The Service includes:

  • Verification flow: POST /verify/start (with x-tenant-api-key), GET /verify/status, and token validation via POST /tokens/validate
  • Verification is powered by third-party identity providers; we do not store ID document images or biometric data
  • Signed age tokens (JWT) for access control on your side
  • Webhooks for asynchronous verification results where configured
  • Rate limiting and quotas per plan
  • A dashboard for API keys, usage, and webhook configuration

The Service is provided as an API only. You integrate it into your own applications and are responsible for your use of the verification results.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing (e.g. enterprise SLA), the Service may be offered in beta or standard tiers and we do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA. We will use reasonable efforts to maintain availability.

Accounts, Security and API Keys

You must maintain an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Your API key (x-tenant-api-key) is confidential. You must not share it with unauthorized parties or expose it in client-side code or public repositories. You are responsible for any use of your API key. We may rotate or revoke keys for security reasons.

Acceptable Use

You must use the Service in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary: you may not use the Service for illegal purposes, to circumvent rate limits or billing, to reverse engineer the Service, or to verify users under false pretenses. Breach of acceptable use may result in suspension or termination.

Fees and Billing

Fees are based on usage as set out in your plan. Billing is processed via Stripe; you agree to provide valid payment details and to pay all applicable fees. We do not guarantee specific pricing beyond what is agreed for your plan. Fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of the Service.

Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the Service or others. You may terminate your account by contacting us at founder@loomapi.com. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may delete or retain data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, documentation, and content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You do not acquire any ownership rights in the Service.

Confidentiality

You must keep confidential any non-public information we provide (including API keys and technical documentation). You may disclose such information only where necessary to use the Service or as required by law, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in England and Wales:

  • The Service is provided as is. We do not give warranties of any kind except as expressly stated.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill).
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service, save that we may bring proceedings in any other court of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service where practicable. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
